Domaine Benjamin Taillandier - "Six Roses" VDF Rose 2021 Region: Languedoc-Roussillon Cinsault, Syrah, Carignan from a tiny (1 hectare) plot with shist, clay, limestone, sand, and marl soil. Average age of vines is 30 years, biodynamic farming, hand harvested, direct press, spontaneous fermentation in tanks, 6 months in stainless steel, unfined and unfiltered. Vegan friendly. As the weather has officially entered beach season, we thought we would pour a line-up of all new bottles that are great to enjoy in the heat. We love welcoming the portfolio of Steven Graf wines into the shop for our Thursday tastings, and this week we are featuring three new and exciting bottles. The tastings are always free and casual, just pop on in between 6pm and 8pm and taste through the line-up: a complex, delicious orange wine from Sicily (Porta del Vento), along with a pair of bottles from the Corbieres region of the Languedoc (Ledogar) - a bold red blend and an elegant Macabeo. May 26: A Trio of Brand-New Arrivals from MFW Wine Company

We hope you can join us on Thursday May 26th as we welcome MFW Wine Company for our latest in-store tasting. Between 6pm and 8pm (though we often go a little later) we will be pouring three delicious and unique offerings from the MFW portfolio: a crisp biodynamic rose from Beaujolais, a bargain of a red blend from Italy, and a unique, textural Portuguese white that really impressed us. May 19: Three Stunning Wines from Grand Cru Selections! 6pm-8pm

While we are always excited for our weekly in-store tastings, this particular line-up is truly something special. Grand Cru Selections have been bringing us some amazing wines recently (we even featured two of these bottles as part of a recent wine club), and no better introduction to their outstanding portfolio than with this trio: a fun & festive rose Pet Nat from Italy along with superb Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from Santa Barbara County.
