Private Tastings


Thank you for thinking of Dépanneur Wines for your event! We would like to make booking and planning your private loft event tasting as easy as possible.

THE BASICS:

  • Our private loft area can accommodate up to about 12 people comfortably. We have crammed a few more, but it can get stuffy etc. We recommend the perfect group size for the space is about 10-12 people.  We require a minimum of 6 people or minimum $350 purchase. 

  • Based on what package you choose, our knowledgeable staff will work with you in building a wine line-up you'll love. 

  • During the event, we’ll kick it off by leading you through the wines for the first 30 minutes. We can nerd out as little or as much as you would like. We’ll then leave you alone to enjoy for the next 1.5 hours.  If you need more time, each additional hour is $100 (if available).

A great intro to our shop and the wines we love. 

You'll get a taste of a red, white, traditional bubbles and one misc bottle (orange, pet nat, rose, etc).

For those looking to learn even more about wine and winemaking.

This tier features bottles to impress. You'll taste a red, white, traditional bubbles, plus one misc bottle (orange, pet nat, rose, etc).

$75 / person

Only the best will do! This includes top tier/benchmark releases.

You'll taste a red, white, traditional bubbles, plus one misc bottle (orange, pet nat, rose, etc).

$90 / person

Say you want to do an all orange wine line-up, or an all volcanic soil Sicilian wine tasting - we can prepare a custom line up!

Market value /  $90+ person.

  • There is also the option to add provisions/snacks/catering from our sister shop right next door, Dépanneur Cafe. Please see our catering menu for food and drink options. Outside food is okay, but all wine  must be purchased from Dép Wines.

 

POLICIES:

We require a minimum of 6 people or minimum $350 purchase. We rent the loft in two hour time blocks, which includes setup and cleanup. If you need more time, each additional hour is $100 (if available). 

We require a $200 deposit to secure the space.  You can venmo us @depwines or we can invoice you via email. Your card will be charged once your order has been placed, with 8.875% tax and 20% gratuity added.

Please keep in mind, due to legalities, these are tasting pours aka “classes with educational materials” (during business hours). If you would like to  book out the entire store for a private event we require a minimum buyout of $3,500 (half day) for weekends and $2,000 for weekdays.
