Fort Ross Seaview (Red Car Estate VY and Mohrhardt Ridge) delicate press and fermented in mostly French oak, Wente clone

Zephyr Farms VY - Mount Eden and 5 clones.

wente adds minerality and citrus, the ZH clones add floral notes, more citrus and a dense texture - resulting in perfect mix of weight and tension

Red Car Wine Company is a boutique winery focused on producing Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Syrah from cold-climate vineyards located in the West Sonoma Coast. Red Car uses meticulous viticulture and transparent winemaking to craft wines with authentic character and originality. Combining old and new world techniques and minimal manipulation so the fruit can faithfully express the cool climate personality of the Sonoma Coast to craft aromatic wines of complexity, finesse and balance. 

Red Car was founded by Carroll Kemp and Mark Estrin in 2000. Besides an enthusiasm for wine, they also shared a Hollywood background – Carroll as producer, Mark as screenwriter. The winery name is a tribute to the electric trolley cars that ran throughout Los Angeles from the late 19th century through the early 1960's. These evocative "red cars" provided transportation in a romanticized time and place.
