Rancho Coda will be a vineyard name on everyone’s radar, just not as Rancho Coda. The vineyard name was changed for legal reasons to Las Cimas, but not until we had already labeled this wine. Names aside, the vineyard itself is gorgeous and is already topping itself in each consecutive vintage. High above Westside Road this expansive property covers a multitude of appellations. The highest point is planted to Gamay Noir and Mondeuse for yours truly and we are thrilled to offer our first of many spectacular bottlings from this exciting new vineyard.

VOTED VINEPAIR #14 WINE OF 2023

Grapes for this wine are sourced from the high-elevation Rancho Coda vineyard in the Sonoma Coast AVA. This leads to a fresh, fruit-forward expression of Gamay Noir, with notes of blackberries, red plums, and strawberries, and hints of cinnamon, white pepper, and earth. The wine offers ample acidity and minimal tannins, making it a great candidate for a slight chill
