selection of complimentary Sonoma County vineyards, each site is distinct but share a commitment to sustainable farming. goal is to express the unique character of the region, with it's warm days / cool nights, oceanic fog, ancient forests, and river valleys - which create nuanced Chardonnay with brisk acidity.
'22 is a blend from 4 top notch sites. Since 2019 LIOCO has been declassifying barrels of Chardonnay from their top single vineyard sites into this cuvee. Clones: 4, Wente, 96, 95.
Sites in the '22: Occidental, Burnside Road, Piner, and Hall Road. Can be cellared for 3-4 years for additional complexity.Â
