This sparkling Gruner is mostly sourced from the Steinleithen vineyard, which has some of his older vines - 35-50 years in age, growing in loam, loess and schist soils, 320-350 elevation.
yellow apples, chalky minerality, pear, fine bubbles, and just a hint of yeasty funk but still totally approachable and crushable.
