This is Alexandre's main production wine (4-5,000bt/yr), a classic deep strawberry jam Tavel rosé with herbal accents and a dash of bitter fruit skin from the Cinsault. 65% Grenache, 35% Cinsault (planted 1989) from galet stone covered clay-limestone soils on Vallongue. Hand harvested, begins with semi-carbonic maceration in stainless steel, then taken out of the closed vat, pressed, and completes vinification in a classic way. Raised another six months in tank, then ready to drink!
