This is Juan-Luis’s delightful village wine, made of 100% old-vine Garnacha (70-90 years old) from 3 vineyards totaling 1.7 hectares planted on granitic sandy soils at 750-1000 meters altitude in El Hoyo de Pinares. Harvested between September 13 and 24, fermented 100% whole bunch with native yeasts in stainless steel, then pressed after alcoholic fermentation and aged in used French barrels for 9 months. Bottled unfined and unfiltered with 20mg/L total SO2. 2500 bottles produced.
