Grand Cru level Etna Bianco from SRC.
SRC takes its name from the first initials of Rori, Cinzia, and daughter Sandra. When you say the letters in Italian you also get the phrase ‘eSseRCi’ meaning ‘we are here.’ SRC began in 2013 with 1ha in Contrada Crasà in the village of Solicchiata. The first three vintages were made in a garage near the vineyard. Since then they have steadily grown and acquired many small vineyards on the northern slopes of the Mount Etna, now totaling 18ha throughout Contradas Crasà, Calderara, Rivaggi, Pirao, Barbabecchi, & Rinazzo. Elevation from 600m to over 1000m featuring steep slopes and terraced vines from 60 years to over 100 years old. Everything is done biodynamically and concrete is favored in the winemaking and ageing process.
