Appellation: AOC Sancerre

Location: The domaine is located in the hamlet of Amigny, just West of the village of Sancerre and South of Chavignol. Sancerre is located in the Western Loire Valley winemaking region.

Variety: Pinot Noir Vineyard: The Pinot Noir comes from a parcel near ‘Les Chasseignes,’ planted on limestone soils. The domaine farms a total of 15ha of vines organically, and all soils are worked manually.

Vinification: Grapes are direct-pressed in a pneumatic press, then transferred to stainless steel for fermentation with indigenous yeasts. Bottled in Spring with a light filtration. The wine is not fined, and only small doses of SO2 are added, at racking and bottling.
