Domaine Trapet - "Minima Blanc" Alsace 2023 750ml (12.5% abv)
Sylvaner, Pinot Auxerrois, Muscat, Gewurztraminer Pinot Gris & Riesling
all their estate varietals
The A Minima has tradition at the Trapets. In the Burgundian vineyard, "A Minima" stands for an excellent passe-tout-grains of Pinot Noir and Gamay. In Alsace, Andrée Trapet wanted to juxtapose the red A Minima with a white version. It has been around since 2012. The fruit comes from the Rosenbourg terroir, where a very old Sylvaner, a Pinot, an Auxerrois and a parcel of Gewürztraminer are planted. Andrée decided to add a little Muscat, in the extension of Rosembourg another Muscat coming from the Grand Cru Schoenenbourg. A little Pinot Gris and some Riesling also come from the same sector. So we are talking about six grape varieties here.
The musts did not receive any SO2but the wine was made with minimal free SO2 filled.
