From Catherine’s oldest plot, you can feel the warmth of the vintage here. Catherine often exclaims that she wishes she could make white wine rather than red wine and this desire comes across in it's character – great elegance and fine tannins with lots of delicate red fruit. She is now joined in the vines and the cellar by her son Nicolas.

Catherine was a journalist before she bought her vines in the Herault in the commune of Saint Drezery. She still writes but dedicates most of her time to her vines and wine.  For a while Catherine shared a winery with another local vine-grower but in 2015 she built her own. She has purchased 4 hectares of vines, the soils are a composition of limestone and clay with large pebbles
