Taste Three Staff Faves. This Thursday Sept. 23rd 5:30 PM-8PM

It was featured in our wine club, we keep selling out of it, come taste our favorite bubbly at the moment, my personal favorite Sauvignon Blanc ever, yes, ever, and a picture perfect Spanish red (93 points from Decanter if you care) that I recently had at home for a weeknight hanger steak dinner. All from Polaner Selections.

Jo Landron Domaine de la Louvetrie Atmospheres (NV)

From Loire Valley this Crémant de Loire is a dream.  Most producers in this region of Muscadet, make inexpensive less than thrilling bubbly as an afterthought but not Jo Landron and his wife Jocelyn. The organic Folle Blanche/Pinot Noir/ and Chardonnay get 24 months on the lees. Toasty and rich, ripe lemons and peaches.  Pair this with your oysters and never look back !

Domaine Pellé, Menetou-Salon Morogues Vignes de Ratier 2019

Now this is a Sauv. blanc I can party with! 30 year old vines, 30 Km Southwest of Sancerre is Ratier.  Kimmeridgian marl bedrock lies just cenitmenters below our feet!  Rich and complex, honey ginger, fleshy stone fruit, white pepper.  Special terroir makes special wine.

direct press, aged in fourdres, 400 L barrels and tank. 12 months lees aging before bottling. organic.

Terroir Sense Fronteres Negre Montsant 2018

This project from Terroir al Límit in Priorat was started in 2018 to show Montsant’s potential through light, elegant wines to contrast with the region’s often heavy, rustic reds. This unoaked Garnacha (75%) and Cariñena blend boasts bright, vibrant flavours of raspberry sorbet and musky black bramble fruit, with piercing acidity and well-balanced alcohol. Tongue- tingling and delicious! -Decanter
