Vinos Pijoan is a small family business based in Valle de Guadalupe, Mexico, Baja California. Born during the initial boom of boutique Mexican wineries, they have grown slowly and consistently to produce wines of spectacular quality.

Pau Pijoan, Mexican of Catalan origin and veterinarian by profession, discovered his love for wine, embarked on an adventure that would completely change his way of life. In 1999 he took a winemaking course at “La Escuelita” where he made his first barrel of Cabernet-Merlot. Then completely immersed himself body and soul in this new stage in the winemaking trade.

Without claiming to be an enologist or sommelier, his long background as a scientist laid the groundwork for a disciplined and methodical study of the art of making great wine. With the help of his advisor and mentor Hugo D’Acosta, Pau is known for producing authentic wines with heart and integrity. Fortunately, the world of Mexican wine has recognized his accomplishments as shown by the preference and loyalty of many clients.

Maceration Carbonica Guadalupe is a 2020 experiment that's here to stay.
