The most stubborn and tannic indigenous Cretan variety, Mandilari, in a flash-maceration vinification, named after Great Mother, the mother goddess of the ancient Minoans. Lean, aromatic, high acid, almost salty - this a very unique lighter red (that can def be enjoyed with a slight chill) for fans of esoteric Gamay or Schiava.
