sourced from 10 acres, small production and very allocated - we got 6 bottles - each bottle is individually numbered
Outrageously beautiful. Silky, spicy, refined. Aromas of forest floor, black tea, rose petals, raspberry, hints of clove and cranberry. Medium to full (for a Pinot) bodied and layered on the palate with juicy red fruit, iron minerality, sage, and a long mouthwatering finish. Oak is present but well integrated even in it's youth (and just 13%). Crafted with a few years of cellar-aging in mind, so best to keep this stashed away for 4-5 years. Otherwise, decant for 2 hours.
