Périne Baillette, daughter of Pierre Baillette, is now at the helm of the estate. Located 7km south of Reims, directly above Rilly-la-Montagne, this outsider house, is quietly making some of the most delicious champers. Since 2010 no pesticide are used on the vines, riddling done by hand and two horses (Tarzan et Saumur) are often ploughing the vineyard. The horses are her husbands', Alexandre Chartogne, who is now leading the famous Chartogne-Taillet Champagne house, what a power couple.
