Domaine currently run by 5th generation: sisters Juliette and Caroline, who have been converting more and more of their plots to organic farming, all wines are made via spontaneous fermentation and bottled unfined and unfiltered.
This rare Savigny Les Beaune whites come from a 2 hectare plot with so-called “white” soil, which contains marl (Only 5% of the Savigny region is planted of white grape varieties - mostly Chardonnay obviously). The most favorable ground is situated at the entrance to the village on a slightly sloping hillside facing north (Les Saucours) and at the exit of the village heading towards Bouilland on a hillside this time facing south (Les Vermots).
Well-structured, dry, quite rounded and are an attractive golden-green color. The main Chardonnay gives the roundness, the aromas of apple and melon, and the finesse. The pinot blanc (around 10%) provides some complexity and mid-palate depth. Barrel fermented for added toasty nuance. Expansive and savory.
