Kontozisis Organic Vineyards is an organic grower in Karditsa, a rural town in the region of Thessaly. The "Cinderella" of Greek grapes, the delicate and aromatic Malagousia.
Delicate floral nose leading to a multi-layered palate. Underripe papaya, lychee, ginger, pressed white flower petals, medium bodied, tangerine peel, coriander, dry & warming finish. Fresh and powerful at the same time. Almost reminds me of a Summer Shandy-style beer, with a subtle bitter quality complimenting the citrus peel and spice notes.
