100% Chenin Blanc (a portion of which grapes were affected by noble rot)
Some of you have been asking for sweet wine and some of you are freaked out by it - we are here to say it's good stuff, and you should give it a try. This Chenin from organic winemakers in the Loire Valley is our store's first dessert wine, beautifully textured, with flavors of candied peach, tropical fruit, and a hint of sage. It has the classic Chenin acidity that makes it sweet but never cloying, and would be perfect alongside a rich triple cream cheese or that incredible guava jam filled pastry from devotion. Fermented and matured in oak vats.
