This wine is named after the di Grutolla's eldest daughter. It is the only wine that Cantina Giardino produces following a protocol, where every year they choose the most suitable grape variety for a maceration that lasts six months in home made amphorae produced by Daniela from Giardino's soils. The point is to bring attention to the amphora vessel and its effect on the wine. The vines are planted in heavy clay over limestone.
A pale, hazy amber, its pure citrus fruit is gently spiced with neat tannins and a long mineral finish adding plenty of intrigue. A wonderful wine to pair with the region’s rustic dishes, such as rabbit.
