His son Paul succeeded him, a simple winegrower (not so simple in those days), who began by selling his grapes to Champagne houses before venturing into sparkling wine production himself in 1947.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan dir=\"auto\"\u003eToday, his sons and grandsons manage a 50-hectare vineyard in the Côte des Bars wine region.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan dir=\"auto\"\u003eIn 1976, after his studies in Avize and Beaune, Bruno Dangin returned permanently to the family estate. He would remain there for 35 years, primarily as an oenologist, before establishing a new estate.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan dir=\"auto\"\u003eIt was in Molesme (21330), 3 kilometers south of the Aube department, that he found a terroir conducive to the creation of an organic sparkling wine, of a quality comparable to what he was already producing. His vines benefit from abundant summer and autumn sunshine, ideal for ripening the grapes thanks to their south\/southeast orientation. Rooted in hard limestone soils, the vines yield wines with subtle aromas.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan dir=\"auto\"\u003eBruno Dangin applies all his expertise to his Burgundian lands: the same working methods, the same winemaking standards as in the neighboring department.
