Syrah, Grenache, Cinsault rosé pét-nat from Anne Paillet. When my eyes met this bottle at the importer’s rooftop portfolio tasting I almost didn’t even taste it . I thought it was going to be all label and no depth , needless to say I was way off! Anne rents fruit from 6 acres of biodynamic vineyards in the Languedoc, tends to pick a little on the early side, begins the winemaking/fermentation process there, before trucking the juice to the Loire Valley.
vibrant, red and blue berries, slight fizz, expressive and delicate while also powerful. love the wine, love the label, love Anne.
