-fruit is picked at a low brix (resulting in wines of modest ABV for CA), spontaneous fermentations, high percentage of whole cluster inclusion, never more than 25% new oak, bottled unfined & unfiltered.
-a quick double decant (back into the bottle) is not a bad idea for this youthful bottle
Freshly picked raspberries, snappy cranberry, hints of earth and spice, even a bit of thyme and green peppercorn, invigorating mineral-edge to the lengthy finish. Classy, polished, and drinks above its price point. A new staff favorite.
