Camur-ria /kamu’r:ia/ Sicilian for ‘trouble’
Camurria Orange was born, a natural orange wine by the Di Giovanna family producing wines and extra virgin olive oil in Sambuca di Sicilia, in the province of Agrigento, and in Contessa Entellina, province of Palermo. The company is run by Aurelio and Barbara Di Giovanna and their sons Gunther and Klaus. The property covers almost 100 hectares and consists of 56 hectares of vineyards, 13 of olive groves, wheat fields and forests.
Bright orange, An expressive bouquet of wild flowers, almonds, marzipan and orange peel. Medium in body, savory with a beautiful acid core. Layers of citrus, stone fruits and spice envelope.

Sicilian sun and wind, long maceration (4 days) on the skins, spontaneous fermentation in neutral barrels. Matured 9 months in steel.
Neutral barrels for 2 months and stainless steel tank, on the fine lees for 9 months, natural orange wine, made without added sulphites, bottled unfined and unfiltered. Certified organic. Volcanic stuff terroir.
Pairs well with seafood and local cheeses and focaccia.
