Today the estate is now ably run on lutte raisonnée principles by Valerie & Jean Christophe Tissot, their acclaimed vintner parents, Francoise and Jean-Louis are theoretically retired- but they’re never far from the daily activities of the farm.
The domaine, a 17 hectare estate, is situated in the heart of the AOC Arbois, in Jura mountain region, Bourgogne-Franche-Comté. A picturesque hillside village of Montigny-les-Arsures. Various parcels spread out over the municipalities, extending to a few additional hectares in Les Bruyères. And they produce the full gamut of Jura wines and spirits.
Valérie's other great-grandfather, Albert Masson, was champagniseur in Arbois. The wines champagnisés (precursors of the current Crémant du Jura) have existed for a very long time in the Tissot's vineyard.
