Foillard is a Cru Beaujolais master - most notably working in Morgon and Fleurie. This Villages level release takes fruit from those prestigious sites and blends in a few other carefully selected/organic plots to form an affordable and accessible cuvee. All the complexity and deliciousness of a Cru but for a few bucks cheaper!
Sourced from a total of 7 hectares of plots, ranging in age from 20-55 year old vines in granite soil.
Heady perfume, rustic structure, silky texture, spicy notes, and mineral-laden backbone - what real Beaujolais is all about. Ethereal and brambly with black cherry fruit, crunchy red berries, floral tones, and zippy acidity.
